I was considering purchasing a car at Autobaker's in Mission Hills, CA. I had them drop the car off at Mark's for a PPI despite the fact Autobaker's had told me it had no issues and they had performed their own PPI. Mark's Independent Service sent me a detailed report that showed the vehicle had problems with the axle boots, ball joints, control arms, valve manifold oil leaks, broken seat heating, lighting, and more. They also provided pictures of every issue they mentioned. Needless to say they prevented me from getting totally screwed by a shady dealer. Thanks a ton!

My sweetie and I both had damage under the hoods of our cars from varmints in the cypress trees next to the driveway. Colleen suggested electronic devices that put out signals and light beams they hate. I bought a pair online and brought them and our cars to Mark’s where the two techs got right to work and did a very craftsman like job installing them. So far no new nibbling on our plastic parts. The guys were cordial, good natured and professional. Good job!

Let me start out by saying that car trouble is always the worst. I’m new to living in this area & a week ago when I got off of work my car would not start. I started searching for local shops trying to find one that I can trust & I came across Marks Independent. After reading some reviews I decided to pull the trigger & have my car towed over to them. I called ahead & spoke with Colleen who was really nice & she let me know as soon as my car was dropped off at the shop. The following day I received a link from Colleen to click on which brought me to the paperwork describing what was wrong with my vehicle. It’s an older SUV so they described what the main problem was (fuel pump) along with several other things that should be urgently considered at the very least. It was all very simple, you simply check the box of the items that you would like to replace & you can also decline service as well. There was never any pressure to try to get me to do anything that I did not want to do. They also provided photos of all of the items that they suggested replacing in the digital paperwork. I clicked the boxes on the items I wanted to replace & digitally signed the paperwork to get the ball rolling. My car was finished within two days & they called to let me know that I could come & pick up my vehicle. During this process I did reach out to Colleen on a couple of occasions to ask some questions. She was super nice & very helpful. I am so glad that I now have a local shop that I can trust if I should ever need anything. I highly recommend Marks & I highly recommend speaking with Colleen! Thanks again!!
